She’s as beautiful as a dove flying through the sky

Whipping her long horse hair back and forth

With a smile as big as the sun

spreading her joy to everyone.

Flying high and making her way to the top of the mountain

becoming the star on the tree

this is the girl you want to be!

I Am

I am beautiful and loving
I wonder why the world is so small
I hear singing and laughing and
I see people having a ball
I want to dance like a dove and fly like a bird
I am who I am, but

I pretend to hide my love

I feel so happy but sometimes down
I touch the world and I never frown
I worry so much and can never relax
I cry myself to sleep but that’s not the fact
I am who I am and thats all there is to it

I understand I’m not perfect, but
I say ill always make it
I dream of being someone I’m not, but
I try with no stress
I hope to receive so much
I am beautiful and loving with just one touch

Confident to do so much with life

 Anxious to travel the word

Loving many with open arms

Intelligent and cleaver but hardly ever wrong

Admiring the beauty that passes by me each day

Noticeable like a diamond in the sky

Incredibly amazing person to be a great friend!

With so much to do

but with only so much time.

I’ve got cooking and cleaning, but only one at a time.

Food on the table for empty stomachs to feed.

Where is the help from a mommy that I dearly need.

Working hard at school to full fill my dream.

Coming home to a hard working mother

Who is there to help for whoever in need.

Helping mommy, is no where near a crime.

From here to there to perform for thousands, entertaining

many is never a problem.

So much to do with only a little bit of time.

Making sure a lot is done so I can Jam and rhyme.

Waiting for an approval is not always easy.

With so much to do but a little to cheese.

1) Americans that are going through a hard time finding a job have called themselves “99ers” because the maximum 99 weeks of employment.

2) The resolution recently of the lengthy senate impasse over extending jobless benefity was balm. The measure renewed two federal programs that extended jobless benefits in this recession to the traditional 26 weeks to any where from 60 to 99 weeks depending on the unemployment rate. But they have passed that limit, the new reality is with no income.

3) Alexandra Jarrin who is 49 years old sold her living room set and gathered money from friends to spend $260 for a motel for a week. After  facing an eviction from her apartment and from going to an motel to now living in her own car.

4)In June according to Bureau of Labor Statistics said with long term unemployment at record levels about 1.4 million people were out of work for 99 weeks  or more.

5) The process of searching for work is complicated when the job seeker doesn’t have a permanent address or phone how would they be able to find out if they got the job or receive a phone call when to come in or if they needed you to come in. Also when legislation senate took away income for unemployment people.

What makes me similar to everyone else is that we all lose someone we love.  On December 23rd, 2008 I lost one of  the most important person in my life.  I lost my great grandmother who I called Mama buela.  It’s been two years now that she has passed, but still feels like yesterday.  My great grandmother was a happy lady.  She loved to make everyone feel at home.   Before she left this world she made sure everyone knew that she cared and loved them.  Mama bulea, always gave everyone a meaningful hug, when she hugged you, you could feel her love.  No one would ever go hungry with my great grandmother, whenever you enter her home she fluttered you with love and food.  She was so cute about offering you food that no one could ever say no.  She loved her garden and always grew her own vegetables, fruits, plants, herbs, and roses.  My relationship with my great grandma, was very special.  I was her first great grandchild and a lot of my first momments involved her.  I think of her everyday and a lot has changed since she no longer with me, but I will never forget her and will never let anyone forget her either.  She was and will always be the queen of our hearts and family.  Memories are all i have left and will cherish forever in my heart to keep my grandmother with me. Advise that I would give to someone would be cherish every memory you had with that person even if it makes you cry or upset thinking about the positive things know that, that person is still always their for you no matter what.
